The Institute for Development of Civil Society “Innovate” (IDCSI) participated in a training and study visit focused on cybersecurity, new technologies, and entrepreneurship, held in Brașov, Romania, from 15 to 21 September 2026.
The aim of the activity was to strengthen young people’s knowledge and skills in the fields of cybersecurity, new technologies, digital competences, and entrepreneurship, while also promoting international cooperation and networking among young people.

During the programme, young participants and collaborators from IDCSI had the opportunity to learn and exchange experiences with representatives of youth organisations from different European and Western Balkan countries. More than 50 youth workers and volunteers took part in joint training sessions, workshops, and activities, strengthening their knowledge while sharing experiences, ideas, and good practices with participants from across the region and Europe.
A particularly valuable aspect of the programme was the opportunity to establish new contacts and explore possibilities for future cooperation between young people and youth organisations from the Western Balkans and Europe. Networking among participants represents an important step towards developing new initiatives and joint activities in the areas of digital security, entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth participation.
IDCSI’s participation in this activity represents another step in the organization’s efforts to provide young people with opportunities to gain new knowledge, international experience, and meaningful connections with their peers and youth organisations across Europe.
